Affordable Portables was founded in November of 2022 through the investment of Josh Shultz and initial management efforts of Troy Wilson. In our first year, we experienced quick and exciting growth, expanding from a small number of units to around 75. We were proud to serve major community events like Praisefest and various Wamego Chamber gatherings, all while steadily growing our base of monthly rental customers.
However, 2024 presented significant challenges that tested the business, including the health issues of our then manager, which slowed momentum. As the year came to a close, a devastating shop fire caused extensive property damage and further disruptions.
Despite these setbacks, we remain committed to the business’s success. With a determination to learn the industry and to customer satisfaction, Josh, along with his wife, have since taken full ownership of operations and made necessary changes to strengthen Affordable Portables.
Today, we are an incredibly effective team of four people and have grown to about 180 regular units, with most of them out serving customers at any given time. To further meet our community’s demand, we are excited to announce we are expanding further, with additional units set to arrive within the 1st quarter of 2026.
Our mission is to deliver a gold-standard experience to the people and organizations we serve through reliable, clean, and responsive portable sanitation services.
